Sea Lions and Sun

Alright, so I better get going on this, while I have some time.

So last night the sun finally came out. It looked like mid-afternoon at 9. haha. It is so weird to be out in the sun when I am ready to go to bed. So we all got on the boat and trolled around. We went to Sea Lion Island and the sea lions were so stinking huge, and speaking of stinking, they reeked. so bad. Brittany, Autumn, and they guys all got out, but I stayed back on the boat to take pictures of them, oh ya and because I value my life. Actually almost all of them, but there were a couple of bulls that just stood there like "Ya, what are you gonna do? I'm as big as your boat." They were crazy funny.

So let's see on the boat trip before that I saw a wild bear and caught my first fish, pretty exciting. Oh ya I also saw puffins last night, which was fun. I really like the puffins. Also a couple of days ago us girls took a walk to the lake on the island and we saw a bunch of lake otters. Brittany tried to get a picture of them, but they jumped in the water as soon as they saw us. They were hissing at us and stuff. I guess they are pretty mean, too. Like they always try to fight with the dog when he comes.

The guests we had a couple of nights ago were really neat. They were travel writers. One was from Scotland and he was really funny. We were talking about the Guardian, and he said, "egh ya, I'd rather drown than be saved by Ashton Kutcher. ...'No, Ashton, it's ok. I'll just swim from here." Ha, crazy scots.
